This tour starts early in the morning at the Puerto Jiménez public pier, where you take the boat towards Sirena. The boat ride offers amazing views of Corcovado and the Pacific Ocean. On the way, you might encounter dolphins, turtles, or even whales depending on the season (July to November).
After the 1-hour, 30-minute boat transfer you will enjoy hiking the trails around the Sirena Biological Station looking for all forms of wildlife. On this tour, you reach the heart of Corcovado, home to thousands of species of plants and trees that sustain a great diversity of wildlife. Monkeys, anteaters, toucans, scarlet macaws, coatis, peccaries, and sloths might appear on the way.
