Night Out With Turtles
Become a research assistant for the night patrol! Help record data, measure turtles, count eggs, relocate, and most important learn about turtles while having lots of fun. (2-5 hours)
Children younger than 13 years old don’t pay.

This project began a while ago in the Carate area with the intention of helping to eradicate certain bad economic, social, and environmental circumstances. With this idea, there was a group of golddiggers from the region who carried out their activity illegally... instead, they are now dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles throughout the year, receiving training, economical remuneration, and food.
What to bring? Red flashlight, repellent, closed shoes, water.

- 7:00 p.m. Welcome to Tortugas de Osa, introduction and instructions about the activity.
- 7:30 p.m. Join a patrol by the beach (5 Km).
- 7:30-10:30 p.m. Help record data, measure turtles, count eggs, protect/relocate/make nests.
- 11:00 p.m.End of the activity.
